Congress Introduction
On behalf of the congress’s committees and Iranian Society of Physiology and Pharmacology, it is my pleasure to invite physiologists, pharmacologists, researchers, scientists, pharmacists, physicians, healthcare professionals and students, to attend and participate in the 6th International and 27th National Congress of Physiology and Pharmacology of Iran, which will be held at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, from 4-6 February, 2026.
This congress, which is held every two years, will focus on the latest innovations and scientific achievements in the fields of physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, neuroscience, and the related sciences.
This international scientific event will serve as a platform for the dissemination of research findings and will host discussions on various research topics in the fields of medical physiology and pharmacology. All accepted abstracts will be published as the supplement of the Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology (IF=0.3). The selected abstracts in the fields of medical physiology and pharmacology or medicinal plants will also have the opportunity to publish in the special issues of the Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology or Avicenna Journal of Phytomedicine (IF=1.9), after peer review process.
